Projected work of young photographers on the memory of places.

10 students from the Ecole Nationale des Arts (ENARTS) have worked with the photographer and educator Belgian Jean-Marc Vantournhoudt around the memory of places in the capital before and after the earthquake that struck the metropolitan area. All this week, they continue the work started in August 2010. The Fokal is pleased to host a public screening of student work, Friday, February 18 at 16:00 in the multipurpose room in the presence of Belgian photographer.


The work of Jean-Marc Vantournhoudt to ENARTS supported by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie in Haiti, and this meeting will provide an opportunity to talk with the photographer about his career on photography and his interest in Haiti. Jean-Marc Vantournhoudt came several times in the country, as a trainer at the French Institute, but also as a photographer with Robert Stephenson and Robert Voit at an exhibition: Port-au-Prince "Viewpoints" that had allowed Fokal in 2007.
