Port-au-Prince jazz festival will be held from February 19 to end 26 February next on the term "Haiti stronger and jazz." It will be the fifth edition of the festival, which is to welcome several artists from the land located in the continental U.S. and Europe: Germany, Brazil, Chile, Spain, U.S., France, Mexico. Many Haitian artists not here or in Diaspora will participate in the festival too. Events will be passed during a week 7 scenes of the capital.


Bal will open in "Parc Historique de la Canne à Sucre" and sing "Beatriz Malnic" from Brazil and "Aaron Goldberg," which is a large pyanis Americans. The "Mino Cinelu", the same scene will close the festival with "Karsten Daerr Trio" and "Pauline Jean."


Festival held under the banner of the Ministry of Culture and Communication with other partners such as focal to welcome home the group from Mexico: Eblèn Macari Trio, Saturday 26 February at 4 o'clock in the press noon. This group is headed kompozitè, Mexican guitarist with roots in Lebanon: Eblèn Matinèz Macari. Bands are a mixture guita contemporary Latin American sounds with the ethnic from around the world, many from Mwayenoryan.


As always do, the Festival offers many free workshops for young musicians interested in jazz and during the day. Despite a difficult year, organizers did what they knew they could make this edition as they persist in their mission to themselves is promoting jazz and jazz Creole.
