Sore Throat Cause Toothaches

Festival Celebration February 7 to FOKAL - Young VDF react ...

J'avais preconceptions about the dictatorship. The conversation changed everything Saturday. By viewing a series of documentaries, and listening carefully to those who lived through the dictatorship, I understand that dictatorship is against nature: stupefies it by removing the human dignity. Democracy, even shaky, is better than a dictatorship. Ken P., Cote-Beach Club

was a really interesting program. We described the former Duvalier dictatorship, a bloody regime. With Duvalier was fear, the flight of intellectuals, torture. The documentaries were so important, the speakers addressed the topic well. Finally I am satisfied 500%. Jeankenson Z. club Pyepoudre

This day could put us in touch with the reality of a dictatorial past, which in fact was a big blow, a blow fatal to liberty, democracy and human dignity. It was a day against amnesia, 25 years after a reign of terror over a quarter of a century in which men and women dared to say "no" and this even at the cost of their lives. F. Hodson, club Mon Repos

This Saturday, I learned a lot about the Duvalier regime: 1) violation of human rights, 2) killing and exile writers and politicians who opposed the plan, 3) embezzlement, etc.. In conclusion, we can say that the Duvalier regime was bloodthirsty. Lorentz club Cote-Plage

I think this activity should be the prelude to a series of activities which will not only store the Duvalier period, as it was in Haitian society, but also should serve as a litigant in the next generation. France May PL., Club Martissant

It was a very rich day. There was much testimony about the injustices of the Duvalier regime. Frankétienne us bluntly ordered to never choose to have it, but rather be, and especially never be afraid! The most important thing is that there were two perfect questions Martissant 2 youth clubs and Cote-Plage. It was a successful day. Sachernka A., club Pyepoudre

Since my arrival, I was a little surprised at the place, and also the comfort we found there . The documentaries have helped us better understand the reality during the Duvalier reign. According Frankétienne, this period was the basis of crime in Haiti. I think young, and that I have learned a lot. Enroe Marc P., club Darbonne

Actually, I learned so much more that can help me to consolidate my position, but at the same time, a deep satisfaction that our Ken (a fellow club who wanted a strong dictatorship in Haiti) has finally decided to join me in my world of democracy. And I'm sure that from this moment he is ready to lead about the campaign for a democratic Haiti democratically. Jeff club Cote-Plage

To mark the 25th anniversary of the end of the dictatorship of Jean-Claude Duvalier, the event hosted by FOKAL, Saturday, Feb. 5 has given us the opportunity to know the mechanisms put in place by the dictator and his companions to torture the people of Haiti. This day shows us that the memory must be inevitable, how our brothers and sisters were starving and dying, yet the president diverted millions of dollars and gourds, and how freedom of expression and assembly have been violated. Indeed, it was a day learning for young people about law, democracy, freedom ... to deduce that against the injustice that still tries to be reborn, you have to plant the gardens of remembrance. Orlando club BMC

This kind of activity has its importance in the fact that our generation must know the mistakes of previous generations to better avoid them. Samuel T., Cote-Beach Club

event for me was a trip back in time multipurpose room where the machine was FOKAL, and each participant (e) a window into this tragic time and even talk of freedom was signing his death sentence. I applaud the courage of the players because it is not at all easy to talk about such painful moments. Brunel F., club Mon Repos

Ben with all my heart ... I welcomed the initiative because without it, except for street protests against Preval, that day would go unnoticed in the memory of many. Moreover, we did not really know where it came from history of nomination on February 7. So I hope it does not remain there and counting. Gasner F., club Martissant

I learned many things, and now I really know what a monster was Duvalier. And so, I would like to such a conference takes place every 3rd Saturday. Rachelle club Cote-Plage

This day was a success for more than one, especially for me. We became aware of the past and want to commit ourselves to do research to know much more about this period in our recent history. Babys L. Darbonne club

The day was interesting, loaded. I learned a lot about the Duvalier dictatorship who was ruthless. It was like I was in the 50s to suffer repression and oppression of those in power. Freedom of expression at that time did not exist. Joel L., club Pyepoudre

The debate has been very rewarding. Myself personally, I learned a lot. I really appreciated the approaches Frankétienne; was a great righteousness. Kassantia CP., Club Cote-Plage
