How Much To Charge For Designing Movie Poster

A new library in Martissant

Martissant Park is a project-based environmental and cultural creation of public spaces. Located at the intersection of the road slabs and Martissant 23, it consists of several forested properties, forming a set of over 16 hectares. One of these properties belonged to the American dancer and anthropologist Katherine Dunham. During the earthquake of 12 January 2010, her house was heavily damaged: it has been destroyed and a study of architecture has been launched for the realization of a cultural center in this field.

The first phase of this study is over: it concerns the completion of five hexagonal modules of 75 m² for a library, mainly for children and youth, and creating a botanical garden of medicinal plants. The library will be accessible from the street Martissant 23 and will consist of four areas of reading and a section dedicated to administrative offices. It will be entirely on the ground floor and accessible to the disabled. It will include a section dedicated to children with furniture, collars and organization of space appropriate. The books will be freely available in the reading rooms.

At the rear of the building, visitors will have access a botanical garden. A water path will guide the walker on the main path, punctuated by fountains, to the top of the garden. In the aisles side, everyone can go out plots planted with local medicinal species, and enjoy the rest offered by the benches placed on the road.

architects Raul Galvan and Winifred have done this project for FOKAL, combining concern for the comfort of the visitor and will make a beautiful space, nature and books. FOKAL soon launch the bidding to start at the earlier work and open the doors of this new library as soon as possible.
